The majestic galloping horses emerging through clouds of rolling manes are picked out in alternating linen yarns in natural white and ecru for a lovely subtle pinstripe effect around the clouds and inside the outlines of the horses. The name Maris stands for “of the sea”, originating from Latin, which is only fitting for this fabric woven on a stunning deep sea gradation, from deepest blues through turquoise shades to rich teals.
The mythical kelpie is said to be a supernatural water horse that haunted Scotland’s lochs and lonely rivers. We like to think that the kelpies in this design represent protection of Scottish mythical creatures and cultural design.
By using BCI cotton we ensure that our cotton meets the Better Cotton Initiative’s high standards of environmental, economic and social responsibility. Our BCI cotton is also organic, meaning it is grown with care and without chemicals keeping the land, and farmers, healthy.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Wash at 30 degrees. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Tumble dry warm. Ironing is recommended.
