This striking BCI organic cotton and Tencel shawl is woven with our special quilted weave technique which is unique to Oscha. Woven in a similar way to the pocket weave, with little pockets created between two layers of fabric, this quilted weave technique incorporates chunky quilting yarns which run throughout the fabric adding.
Woven on the gorgeous Belle warp, from deep purple through violet to light blue, this is our first release of a quilted weave fabric on a gradation which makes it all the more special. Our popular rolling waves design is picked in an electric turquoise green yarn that makes the design pop and creates a unique, striking fabric.
Tencel is a yarn made from wood pulp using a closed loop system, softer and stronger than most cottons it also uses much less water and land making it a great eco-friendly alternative.
By using BCI organic cotton, by using BCI cotton we ensure that our cotton meets the Better Cotton Initiative’s high standards of environmental, economic and social responsibility. Our BCI cotton is also organic, meaning it is grown with care and without chemicals keeping the land, and farmers, healthy.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Delicate cool wash is recommended. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Do not tumble dry, lay flat to dry. Iron on a cool setting.
