This blend of Himalayan Nettle, silk and cotton creates a lightweight, breathable, and wonderfully textured fabric.
The alternating weft of nettle/cotton and wild silk/cotton pick out a variety of succulents in ecru, celebrating the diversity and hardy nature of these plants. This unique fabric features a background of earthy colours reminiscent of the look of wood-fired ceramics. Velvety chocolate hues, transition through apricot tones, culminating in a warm almond finish.
Himalayan nettle is a natural fibre derived from the Himalayan nettle plant which has been used for centuries in the region for its strong and durable properties. Nettle fibres are harvested from the plant's stalks, then processed and spun into yarn. The use of nettle promotes sustainable and eco-friendly practices. Nettle plants grow abundantly in the Himalayan region and require minimal resources and chemicals to thrive. Their cultivation and harvesting support the livelihoods of growers in well-managed supply chains.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Hand washing is recommended, although a silk cycle on a known reliable machine may be used at your own risk. Use a suitable silk detergent. Hang to dry, avoiding direct sunlight and iron on a cool setting.
