Smaug™ The Magnificent
This new addition to our Middle-earth Collection is an original design based on the fearsome dragon, Smaug, who guards the wealth of the Dwarves of Erebor within the Lonely Mountain. Our designer, Mike, worked through some brilliantly terrifying designs before settling on this ferocious creature.
This design was based on the wonderful descriptions of Smaug in The Hobbit, with his fiery red scales and magnificently menacing features - this is an intense image of the mythical beast created for this Collection. Intricate scales cascade down Smaug's back as a fireball erupts from his awesomely powerful jaws, falling across his wings in an incomparable depiction of the mighty beast slain by the Bard at Laketown.
Bilbo: "I did not come to steal from you, O Smaug the Unassessably Wealthy. I merely wanted to gaze upon your magnificence. To see if you really were as great as the old tales say. I did not believe them."
Smaug: "My armour is like tenfold shields, my teeth are swords, my claws spears, the shock of my tail is a thunderbolt, my wings a hurricane, and my breath death!"
The design sits beautiful across an infant carrying wrap or carrier and you will see it featured on various accessories too, we hope you will love it!
