Should I Choose a Left or Right Shoulder Ring Sling?
- ‘Left or right shoulder’ refers to the position of the rings on your shoulder, your baby will sit on the opposite hip.
- Check which hip you would naturally want to place your baby on and choose that option.

Woven on a black mako cotton warp with a weft blend of tubular Bourette silk and soft grey cashwool, Kelpies Stormy Seas offers cush and texture, while retaining the signature Bourette silk qualities of strength, softness, and grip. This fabric is light mouldable, a great all-rounder that is easy to work and is suitable for carrying through to toddlerhood.
The unique Bourette silk yarn is a specially developed single-ply yarn knitted into a fine tube, creating a softly textured, breathable fabric. Cashwool adds breathability and additional cush, making the wrap comfortable even during longer carries. The mercerized Egyptian Mako cotton, which is thicker than the Mako cotton used in our previous releases, brings strength and a natural sheen to the blend. Mercerization strengthens the fibres, improves resistance to pilling, enhances colour depth, and gives the fabric a beautiful, lasting lustre.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Hand washing is recommended, although a silk cycle on a known reliable machine may be used at your own risk. Use a suitable silk detergent. Hang to dry, avoiding direct sunlight and iron on a cool setting.
