Woven using our signature Pocket Weave technique, Doors of Durin Ornament is filled with tiny pockets of air, giving it a beautifully cushy feel.
Inspired by the legendary Doors of Durin, the design is brought to life through a carefully structured, double-layer warp. One layer shines with multicoloured autumnal hues, with a second layer of ecru organic cotton. A black weft interlaces with the multicoloured warp, subtly muting the shades without overshadowing the design. The pattern itself is delicately highlighted in golden yellow Cashwool, glowing against the darker backdrop.
Woven from a variety of small-batch, leftover yarns, materials that might otherwise have gone to waste are given new life in something unique and beautiful. The combination of these different yarns creates an artisanal and distinctive look and feel, making this fabric truly one of a kind.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Hand washing is recommended, although a wool cycle on a known reliable machine may be used at your own risk. Use a suitable wool detergent. Lay flat to dry and iron on a cool setting.
