The intricate Evenstar design is picked out in a new weft yarn of Superfine Merino and Mongolian Cashmere, which creates a special fabric that radiates understated elegance.
The blend of pure Superfine Merino wool and Mongolian Cashmere comes from the Alashan region of Inner Mongolia. The Alashan plateau is known for its climate and geographic conditions that produce some of the world's finest cashmere. This yarn is carded rather than combed, giving it a distinctly cushioned, cloud-like feel. When paired with BCI organic cotton, the result is a wrap that is soft, cushy, moulds beautifully while feeling light in hand.
The driftwood warp with the crisp white weft presents a palette of understated neutrals, with the interplay of warm stone and cool white. Softly lustrous, it catches the light, giving it a special look that makes it as fitting for a christening or wedding as it is for an everyday school run.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Delicate cool wash is recommended. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Do not tumble dry, hang to dry. Iron on a cool setting.

This pattern represents Arwen Undómiel, daughter of Elrond of Rivendell and granddaughter of Galadriel of Lothlórien. Arwen is also named 'Evenstar' as one of the last and greatest Elves to live in Middle-earth. She also bears a necklace called 'the Evenstar' which she gifts to Frodo to aid him to recover from the great weight of carrying the One Ring to Mordor saying -
"When the memory of the fear and the darkness troubles you ... this will bring you aid."
