The Khazad-dûm pattern appears on a vibrant spectrum that evokes the glow of firelight on stone and the richness of the natural world. The space-dyed organic cotton weft gives a unique, multi-coloured effect. The subtle variations in colour add depth and energy to the fabric, making each section unique and interesting.
Inspiration for this pattern comes from the regal halls of Moria™. The runes featured read:

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Wash at 30 degrees. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Tumble dry warm. Ironing is recommended.

The fabric pieces come unhemmed in either 0.5m, 1m or 1.5m long x approximately 70cm wide.

This pattern depicts the cavernous halls of Khazad-dum, including grand staircases and towering pillars. A series of shields are embellished with icons and runes celebrating the Dwarven-kings of Moria. It is drawn in the strong Elvish style with elements of angular Celtic knotwork and hints of Art Deco
The runes that run along the borders of the pattern are from 'The Song of Durin', which is sung by Gimli as an ode to the splendors of Dwarrowdelf.:
