This is your chance to have an Oscha item made just for you from this stunning fabric. Choose from any of our baby carriers, scarves, bags or keyrings. Our skilled seamstresses will then carefully craft your custom item especially for you. Some items are only available through Made to Order, giving you the opportunity to purchase a unique Oscha which may be one of a kind! It also helps avoid waste as we only make what is needed.

Because this is an 'arms out' carrier that is worn high on the back, you would need your baby to have full head control and to be able to sit unaided. The minimum age is around 4 months but it depends on your child. Many children will not be ready to sit unassisted until 5 - 6 months or older.
The upper age range for this carrier is 2 years. The full width available is 16"/40.5 cm.

You can choose from Baby, Toddler or Preschooler sizes and an XL option on each of these if you need longer straps and waist belt. The Cairis (meaning 'to care for' in Scots) is our most loved carrier, made with padded, flare straps and a buckle waist, it mimics the feeling of being in a wrap with the ease of use of a buckle carrier. It features Oscha's unique Strata Linea Waistband, which adds padding underneath the buckle for your comfort.

The Cairis XL comes with 50cm longer straps, a waistband that goes from 27"/69cm to 60"/152cm and 5" longer padded tongue on the waistband.

The Cairis meets safety standards (conforming to BS EN 13209-2:2005 & ASTM:F2236-14) It is made from responsibly sourced yarns which have been woven in the UK & is created in our Scottish workshop. It is a 'Hip Healthy' Certified product from the International Hip Displacia Institute. Oscha woven baby carriers come with a Peace Of Mind Guarantee.
