Because this is an 'arms out' carrier that is worn high on the back, you would need your baby to have full head control and to be able to sit unaided. The minimum age is around 4 months but it depends on your child. Many children will not be ready to sit unassisted until 5 - 6 months or older.

Ancients of Gondor Roots of Wisdom will feel soft straight from the bag and offer comfort when carrying children of all ages. The fabric is slightly bouncy and has a gentle cush for the shoulders for extra comfort while carrying. A little stretch makes it perfect for carrying newborn right through to toddlerhood.
The trees of Gondor are picked out in air blue Superwash Cashwool. This yarn is made from merino lambswool and has been spun to be smooth and soft, mimicking cashmere without the price tag. You will love wrapping your little one with this stunning fabric!

The White Tree is the emblem of Gondor, symbolising rebirth and the lineage of the Kings. Yet it also connects back to the very creation myths of the Middle-earth universe. Our Ancients of GONDOR pattern represents the long lineage of the White Trees leading up to and including the Tree of Gondor, as described in the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit.
Stylised, flowing tree forms, reminiscent of Celtic knots, are bordered by a simple meandering line of dots, interspersed with the Elvish script, naming each tree in turn.
